Job Description

If you're passionate about visual storytelling, environment design, digital matte painting, and creating compelling visual concepts for film and animation, we'd love to have you join us as a Concept Artist at LMN VFX.

We are currently hiring for All Level Concept Artist roles for those of you who are based in Indonesia.

If you have a strong artistic eye, solid understanding of composition, lighting, perspective, and are comfortable developing ideas across different visual styles, we would love to hear from you.

Description

• Create high-quality environment concept art and digital matte paintings for film and animation projects.
• Develop color scripts, environment designs, and visual explorations that support storytelling, mood, and artistic direction.
• Integrate 2D and 3D elements seamlessly to create believable, cinematic environments.
• Collaborate closely with the Art Director, Compositing, and Lighting teams to ensure consistency across visual styles and technical requirements.
• Maintain a high standard of visual quality while meeting production deadlines.

Requirements

• Strong artistic skills with a solid understanding of composition, lighting, perspective, and color theory.
• Ability to create photo-realistic matte paintings and stylized environment concepts as required by the project.
• Proficiency in software such as Photoshop, Nuke, Blender, or other 3D tools used for DMP integration.
• Experience working with multiple perspectives, lighting conditions, and moods.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively within a collaborative, multi-department production environment.
• A strong artistic eye and the ability to adapt to different visual styles.

Portfolio Requirements:

• A selection of your best concept art and/or matte paintings demonstrating strong design sense, lighting, and mood.
• If applicable, include breakdowns or process shots showing your workflow from rough concept or 3D base to final image.
• An online portfolio (ArtStation, personal website, etc.) with clear and professional presentation.
