Concept Artist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Concept Artist who will collaborate closely with the 3D department, contribute to the project’s visual direction, and provide design support and paintovers for characters, sci-fi vehicles, panels, weapons, props, and environment elements in a contemporary AAA sci-fi realism style.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Concept Artist
• Strong sense of design, form, silhouette, and functionality of sci-fi assets
• Proven experience working in realistic AAA sci-fi art styles
• Experience creating and refining designs for characters, vehicles, weapons, panels, props, and environment assets
• Advanced proficiency in Photoshop
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Blender, ZBrush, 3D-Coat, or other 3D software packages
• Understanding of modern 3D production pipelines
• Ability to work within established art direction and technical constraints

Responsibilities:

• Create, refine and enhance designs for characters, vehicles, props and other environment assets
• Create paintovers for 3D models and provide conceptual support for the 3D team
• Develop and adapt designs to meet modern AAA visual quality standards

Would be a plus:

• Basic understanding of Unreal Engine 5
• Understanding of modern PBR workflows and material language
• Experience with remaster or remake projects
