3D ENVIRONMENT ARTISTS
This role is open to junior to mid-level 3D environment artists who love building worlds for animation, games, or cinematics. You’ll create props, set pieces, and modular assets, turning designs and references into polished, production-ready environments while keeping your files clean and ready for lookdev, lighting, animation, VFX, and rendering.
What we are looking for:
- Strong foundation in environment modeling, including scale, form, silhouette, and composition, with the ability to create props, set pieces, and modular assets from concepts or references
- Working knowledge of Blender for modeling, UVs, scene organization, and asset preparation, along with a basic understanding of topology, UV layout, and clean mesh structure
- Good sense of set dressing and layout readability, with the ability to follow art direction and translate approved designs into clean, production-ready assets
- Organized workflow with clean file management, naming, and version control, along with openness to feedback and clear communication of blockers
- Awareness of downstream needs for lookdev, lighting, animation, VFX, and rendering
- Experience with stylized 3D, animation, games, or cinematic production is an advantage; Substance Painter and ZBrush are required, with Maya and Unreal Engine as a plus
For junior applicants, we expect a strong foundation, a good learning attitude, and a portfolio that shows environment modeling potential.
For mid-level applicants, we expect stronger task ownership, cleaner asset judgment, and the ability to deliver assigned assets or environment sections with less supervision.
