2D Toon Boom Harmony Character Animators

Job Description
We’re setting up for a mixed media children’s series, produced by 3Megos, focusing on the environment, climate change and sustainability. We are looking for mid to senior level, 2D Toon Boom Harmony character animators to join our in-house team (in Worcester).
As an animator you will be responsible for bringing our core characters to life. The production pipeline consists of quick turnarounds at all stages, therefore excellent communication and attention to detail is essential. Applicants with a passion for learning more about the world are encouraged.
Work Model
- Roles will be in-house at our Worcester studio. Please do not apply for this role if you are looking for remote or hybrid working.
- Fixed-term contracts, starting mid-September 2026 (6 months)
- Full time, Monday – Friday, 9AM-6PM
Responsibilities
- First and foremost, it will be important to study the production bible to understand each of the show’s characters and the animation style. You will be key to ensuring we are delivering a consistent format throughout the series.
- Produce high quality character animation and turning around fast paced deliveries in accordance with the production schedule as part of a team.
- Responding and acting on, notes and feedback from your Director and Lead Animator.
- Follow a structured workflow and filing system implemented by heads of department.
- Keeping trackers up to date to ensure departments are aware of updates from your allocated shot lists.
- Communication is the key to ensuring you have all the correct resources to complete the work within the allotted time frame. Flag any potential setbacks and request any support where required.
Requirements
- Must be proficient in Toon Boom Harmony (premium), knowledge on nodes is an advantage.
- Experience on at least one 2D animated episodic series is essential, broadcast series is an advantage.
- Advanced understanding of body mechanics, posing and getting the best performance possible out of a character.
- Good knowledge of traditional animation principles is desirable.

- Fast, consistent turnaround at production pace.
- Capable of managing own workload as part of a team with an efficient workflow and ensuring tasks are complete to production timelines.
- Good communication and tracking skills.
- Able to receive feedback and action accordingly.
