Job Description:

We're looking for a colleague who is passionate about storytelling.

As we expand our teams in Bangkok, we are currently looking for a Senior Storyboard Artist to work on an upcoming CG TV series for a global entertainment brand.

With a masterful eye for cinematography and pacing, you will set the artistic benchmark for the team, translating scripts into cinematic sequences that reach audiences in 136 countries, and mentoring the artists growing alongside you.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Visual Storytelling: Translate scripts into high-quality storyboards with a commanding grasp of cinematography, acting, and pacing — delivered with minimal direction from Leads and Supervisors.
  • Style Adaptation: Quickly adapt to various artistic styles while staying closely familiar with the do's and don'ts of the assigned project.
  • Mentorship: Proactively guide and mentor less experienced teammates, including helping them create and collect appropriate references.
  • Pipeline Precision: Take full ownership of QC across all storyboarding tasks, adhere to naming conventions and folder structures, and stay aware of how your work affects downstream departments.
  • Delivery & Communication: Prioritize review points to deliver at or above the required quality within deadlines, flag potential bottlenecks early with viable solutions, and participate actively in dailies, weeklies, and handout sessions.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Storyboard Artist in animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating excellent drafting skills, acting, pacing, and cinematography.
  • Fluency in industry-standard storyboarding software, tools, and hardware, such as Toon Boom Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, and digital tablets.
  • Deep understanding of the animation production pipeline and workflow.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and technical needs clearly.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience mentoring or leading junior artists within a studio environment.
  • Familiarity with real-time production workflows, such as Unreal Engine.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward optimizing creative processes.
  • Current residency in Thailand is highly preferred.

What we offer

  • A competitive salary that respects your experience.
  • Work on productions that reach 136 countries: series, shorts, and TVC built here, delivered globally.
  • Fresh, daily meals cooked by our kitchen team for everyone on-site.
  • Benefit package including an annual health check and group insurance for our team.
  • A real-time studio built on Unreal, where the pipeline is designed to give artists more time for the work that matters.
  • A vibrant office life that values social gatherings, group activities and hygge.
