Background Artist

About This Role

As a Background Artist, you are responsible for creating and placing background elements that support the visuals and atmosphere in each scene to align with the concept and production needs.

Scope of Work

• Place background assets to webtoon storyboards or linearts
• Create assets to use as background objects in Webtoon as needed
• Work together with the 3D team to develop and maintain the style of each webtoon title
• Meet the deadline for each task given by the team leader and/or project manager

Qualification

• Good communication skills
• High understanding of comic and webtoon storytelling
• Willing to work within a team in a collaborative way
• Experienced as a comic artist or similar roles
• Proficient in using Clip Studio Paint as a tool for creating comics
• Proficiency in using Sketchup is a plus
