About the Job
We’re looking for a highly creative and versatile part-time 2D Illustrator & Advertising Artist to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for creating dynamic and emotionally engaging illustrations that support our advertising campaigns, social media presence, and overall brand storytelling.
This is an exciting opportunity for an artist who thrives in a fast-paced, content-driven environment and enjoys designing for a wide range of audiences and platforms. Your work will help define the visual voice of the brand while driving audience engagement across digital channels.
What You'll Do
- Reports to the Head of Marketing and collaborates cross-functionally with the Social Media Manager and Brand Director to ensure cohesive campaign execution as needed
- Create high-quality 2D illustrations for marketing campaigns, advertisements, and digital platforms
- Design engaging visuals for social media posts, promotional content, and brand campaigns
- Develop artwork that supports advertising initiatives and drives audience engagement
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand strategy
- Participate in feedback cycles and quickly implement revisions based on marketing needs
- Stay current with trends in social media, digital advertising, and visual storytelling
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in illustration or concept art in a professional setting (games, animation, or digital content)
- Strong portfolio showcasing stylized work, cute/chibi characters, and storytelling-focused illustration
- Excellent proficiency in Photoshop or similar digital painting tools
- Strong sense of composition, color theory, lighting, and character expression
- Ability to follow brand/style guides while still bringing fresh creative energy
- Comfortable taking direction and iterating on feedback in a collaborative environment
- Ability to manage deadlines efficiently and juggle multiple projects at once
- Must be based in the Austin, TX area or willing to relocate (relocation assistance available)
