2D Animator

Job Description

Frontmen studio is looking for a skilled 2D Animator who loves art and gaming. You'll be creating cool animations for characters, props, environments, and effects. Must understand the 12 principles of animation. 

You'll get support and training from your team lead. We value a positive work atmosphere, teamwork, and cooperation.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver amazing 2D animations using primarily Spine 2D and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of applications
• Optimizing assets for file size and performance
• Read scripts and asset lists to understand animation requirements
• Coordinate with illustrators and developers when necessary to ensure efficient deliveries
• Creates scene and game layouts using a library of assets
• Works with lead animators to ensure timely completion of animations at the desired quality
• Provide estimations and time frames to your assigned tasks
• Have the ability to implement feedback in revisions when necessary

• A creative and passionate animator
• A good team player and clear communicator
• Able to integrate feedback and guideline requirements into your designs
• Able to act upon changing priorities or specifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Degree in 2D/3D computer animation, graphic design, fine arts or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years experience as a 2D animator
• A portfolio demonstrating strong animation skills
• Excellent knowledge of Spine, Adobe After Effects
• General knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator
• Prior experience in online game animation is a plus, but not required
