2D Puppet Animator

Twisty Tiger Productions is a 2D animation production studio based in the USA, however we are fully remote and looking to expand! Specializing in high-energy, bold, and colorful animations, the studio collaborates with businesses and creators to bring captivating stories and concepts to life. We focus on bringing together junior level animators to our senior level leads to collaborate and learn!

Role Description

This is a contract-based, fully remote role for a 2D Puppet Animator. This is a short term freelancing project, and may roll into other projects based on availability. You will be in charge of animating 2-3 scenes for our current project, Submersed, as well as stress testing our rigs, and collaborating with the rig builders to request new features in our rigs.

This role is aimed towards current students, recently graduated, and entry level animators. Mid-Level and senior applicants will be considered, however it is our goal to provide a space for animators to learn and grow.

Requirements:

• Access to Toonboom Harmony Premium
• Demo reel or website showcasing your previous work in 2D puppet animation

Qualifications:

• Previous work on a pipeline (TV, feature, short, ads) using Toonboom Harmony Premium and 2D puppets
• A Demo reel or website showcasing your previous work in 2D puppet animation

Notice:

This role will only be open until April 26, 2026. Any applications submitted after that time will not be considered.

Any demo reel or website containing AI animation or AI assets will not be considered for this position or any position within Twisty Tiger Productions.

Any applicant without access to Toonboom Harmony Premium will not be considered at this time.
