High School 2D and 3D Art Teacher

Position overview:

The WCHS Visual Arts department is seeking a candidate with a range of 2D and 3D art experience. Course duties may include different levels of sculpture, drawing and painting, so the candidate should be well-versed in materials, processes and techniques related to these content areas. 

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver appropriate instruction in 2D and 3D Visual Arts.  
2. Develop effective instructional strategies and assessments that focus on state standards.
3. There must be a commitment to professional growth.
4. The candidate must be an instrumental part of the instructional team.

Building Principal

Compensation:

Based on the Master Contract

Qualifications:

1. The preferred candidate will have a Visual Art license or be willing to pursue licensing requirements.
2. The preferred candidate will have experience in teaching high school students.
3. The preferred candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively.
