Surfing Giant Europe creates original content with captivating stories, enriched by stunning animation and unique music. Our projects combine creativity and skill to push the boundaries of storytelling. With studio locations in Santa Monica, Los Angeles; Manchester, UK; and Santa Cruz, Tenerife.
Start date & Duration: End of May 2026 (64-68 weeks)

We are looking for Character & Prop Designers to join our talented team working on a high-profile 2D animated series for Disney TVA.

The successful candidate will:
- Have conversational English language skills.
- Have previous experience of working on high profile 2D animated series in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years.
- Be proficient in Adobe Photoshop software.
- Be capable of replicating the style of the approved production design style.
- Assist in creating character designs from initial approval, through to technical turnaround stage.
- Technical ability creating character charts.
- Design special poses as assigned.
- Assist in designing episodic props as assigned.
- Be willing to take on constructive feedback and retakes.
- Have excellent communication skills, a high attention to detail and good organisation skills.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapt to any scheduling changes as necessary.
