We are looking for a Concept Artist to join our talented team working on a high-profile 2D animated series for Disney TVA.

Job Type: Fixed term Contract
Start date & Duration: April 2026 (52-60 weeks)

The successful candidate will:
- Have conversational English language skills.
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working on high-profile animated series in a Concept Artist role.
- Be confident working in a fast-paced production environment and able to adapt creatively to evolving briefs and feedback.
- Report to the Art Director and support when required.
- Have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, shape language, lighting, colour theory, perspective and mood development.
- Create compelling environment concepts, key locations, paint-overs, colour keys, and mood pieces based on scripts and creative briefs.
- Develop visual development explorations aligned with the show’s style and narrative tone.
- Translate written ideas into clear, production-ready visual direction for downstream departments.
- Collaborate closely with the Art Director, Directors and maintain the show’s visual identity.
- Produce exploratory sketches, thumbnails, and polished presentation artwork for internal and external reviews.
- Contribute to world-building, visual research, and stylistic development.
- Be highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop (advanced level required)..
- Demonstrate good time management and organisational skills, excellent communication, prioritise tasks, and consistently meet production deadlines.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Have an understanding of file management software such as Ftrack and a familiarity with Toon Boom Harmony is beneficial for pipeline awareness. (advantageous).
