Junior Animator/Artist

Job Overview

Plan A Technologies is looking for a Junior Animator/Artist with strong graphical and design skills to support the visual production of our games. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to develop professionally while contributing creatively to 2D art and animation. You will work closely with Technical Artists, Producers, and Developers to help bring our visual concepts to life.

Please note: you must have at least 2+ years of experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially with Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, and a professional portfolio to be considered for this role.

Job Responsibility

• Create and implement static and animated 2D art for our games according to project specifications.
• Collaborate closely with Technical Artists, Producers, and Developers to ensure smooth integration of art assets into the game.
• Participate in art-related tasks under the supervision and guidance of a Technical Artist.
• Engage in training, mentoring, and professional development activities to strengthen technical and artistic skills.
• Support ongoing projects by preparing, adapting, and optimizing graphical assets.
• Contribute creatively to discussions on visual style, composition, color, and animation flow.

Experience

• Strong graphical and design abilities, demonstrated through a portfolio (static artwork and/or animation).
• 2+ years of experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially with Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Strong sense of composition, form, lighting, color theory, and photo manipulation.
• Basic understanding of game art production workflows.
• Interest in animation pipelines, UI/UX art, or motion graphics.
• Familiarity with other art or animation tools (e.g., Spine, Unity, Blender).
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken), as the role involves working with producers and team members worldwide.
• Ability to maintain a positive work attitude.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
