Job Description
We are looking for a professional to join our art team as a Character Artist with extensive experience in character development for games.
Requirements:
- High-level organic and hard-surface modeling experience in games or films
- Ability to model characters in a variety of styles with an emphasis on character design
- Strong understanding of human and creature anatomy
- Ability to create game-ready 3D assets, including high-poly and low-poly
- Knowledge of modern modeling techniques and pipelines
- Expertise in software: ZBrush, Maya/Blender/3ds Max, Substance Painter, Photoshop
- Strong portfolio
Responsibilities:
- Create high- and low-resolution character and creature models under next-gen constraints
- Perform sculpting, retopology, UV mapping, and texture creation for both organic and hard-surface character elements
- Collaborate closely with the Art Director and team
- Contribute to pipeline improvements and workflows specific
Would be a plus:
- Drawing, sculpting, and other traditional art skills are a plus
- Unreal Engine basics
