2D Animator

We’re looking for a 2D Animator who can bring our characters, environments, and UI elements to life with smooth, engaging animations. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and other artists to make sure our games are visually stunning and fun to play. Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D animations for game assets, characters, and user interface elements using Spine and Unity
- Integrate animations into Unity and collaborate closely with designers, technical artists, and developers
- Work with the art and product teams to ensure animations enhance gameplay and overall player experience
- Contribute to the animation pipeline by optimizing assets for performance and quality
- Share ideas to push our game’s animations further and review existing work to ensure continuous improvement
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a 2D Animator in games (mobile preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Spine and moderate knowledge of Unity
- Solid understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash & stretch, anticipation, etc.)
- Ability to deliver clean, optimized, game-ready animations
- Team player mindset with strong communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with 2D VFX (Unity particle system, shaders, FX animation)
- Experience in casual or stylized mobile games
- Familiarity with game pipelines and performance optimization
