About the Job
We’re seeking a highly skilled and imaginative 2D Illustration Artist with a strong foundation in visual content to join our creative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on crafting stylized, eye-catching, and cute illustrations that bring joy to our community. You’ll play a key role in shaping our visual identity across digital platforms by creating engaging, on-brand artwork that resonates with our audience.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with the Art Lead, Marketing, and Social teams to develop visually engaging 2D artwork for community posts, campaigns, and storytelling assets.
- Create polished illustrations, including character-focused compositions and expressive visuals, tailored for entertainment-centric online content.
- Sketch visual concepts from prompts and iterate based on feedback from creative leads.
- Maintain a consistent aesthetic and high-quality bar across all artwork, aligning with brand voice and platform-specific needs.
- Support social campaigns by designing illustrations optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube community posts, including shareable graphics and fun visuals.
- Stay in tune with art and internet culture trends to keep artwork fresh, expressive, and engaging.
- Organize and manage layered Photoshop files with clean structures and naming conventions.
- Assist the needs of other art projects and departments
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in digital illustration, visual design, or a similar creative field.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, with comfort using Illustrator or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to create character-driven, cute, and stylized artwork for youth-oriented or fandom-based audiences.
- Solid understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- A collaborative spirit, open to feedback and iteration in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Awareness of social media platforms and how visuals drive performance and engagement.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize effectively under creative direction.
Bonus
- Experience with video games like Minecraft or Roblox.
- Comfort painting over 3D base models or rendering stylized concept art.
- Familiarity with internet culture, memes, and community-driven content trends.
