Job Description
make animations that are simple and funny.

what you’ll do:
- make extremely simple animations that are fast, silly, and funny
- timing, exaggeration, reactions, deadpan zooms, etc.
what we’re looking for:
- funny: you know how to make stick figures (or any animation) hilarious. you can time a punchline with a head turn and a perfectly awkward pause.
- strong comedic timing: you know how to sync a joke perfectly with voice over and animation
- simple animation: flat backgrounds, no detail, just minimal shapes that move funny
- fast turnaround time: we move fast, so you need to finish a few scenes per day
examples of humor we like:
- deadpan absurdity: serious delivery of ridiculous lines
- timing is everything: awkward pauses, delayed zooms, or punchlines that hit a second late
- unexpected transitions: jump cuts that escalate the joke or completely derail the moment
- zooms as punchlines: quick in/out zooms to emphasize emotion or make things awkward
- motion-driven laughs: movement tells the joke. a faceplant. a slow pan. a zoom that lingers too long. the animation is the humor.
