Storyboard Supervisor

Job Description
We’re seeking a Storyboard Supervisor to join our team on an exciting animated series — a high-energy, heart-filled spinoff of Dino Ranch, a fan-favourite preschool property. Think dino-sized adventures, lovable characters, and action-packed storytelling that spark the imagination of young audiences.
This short-term contract position runs from April through the end of November 2025. The role will function as a Co-Storyboard Supervisor, working alongside another supervisor to split episodes and support our storyboard team.
Candidates must be Canadian citizens and reside in Ontario, Canada. Remote or hybrid working arrangements are available within the province.
Responsibilities:
- Co-supervise a team of storyboard artists and revisionists across assigned episodes
- Collaborate closely with your fellow Supervisor, Series Director, Art Director, and Production team
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to support strong visual storytelling, emotional clarity, and comedic timing
- Maintain consistency and quality across episodes while keeping the team on schedule
- Work in Storyboard Pro to review, annotate, and adjust boards as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Storyboard Supervisor or strong senior-level storyboard experience on animated series
- Strong understanding of pacing, action, comedy, and storytelling for preschool and/or family content
- Proficiency in Toon Boom Storyboard Pro
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to balance creative leadership with production needs
