Job Details
- Modelling/texturing environments (terrain, key landmarks, props, architecture) based on concepts, reference, 3D mock-ups, art direction and technical specifications.
- Modelling both organic and hard surfaces in high poly and low poly.
- Becoming responsible for reaching deadlines and collaborating with Design, Art Lead and other departments.
- Helping define material and light properties for environment shaders.
- Having a keen eye for detail and correctness, easily identifying problems in modeled assets and workflow.
- Coordinating with members of the team.
About you
- Proficient in traditional modelling and texturing workflow 3ds Max (or Maya) and Photoshop.
- Proven experience as a 3D Environment Artist in the gaming industry.
- Skilled in creating assets for consoles and mobile games, adapting to various art styles.
- Skilled in the creation of PBR assets and the PBR Lighting workflow in general.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on problem solving
- A strong sense for composition, color and light.
- Demonstrates a keen eye for composition, color, and light.
- Organized, prioritizes tasks well, and interprets feedback effectively.
- Knowledge of tools such as Zbrush, Substance Painter and Designer is a plus
- Knowledge of real-time engines like Unreal Engine, Unity or CryEngine is a plus
- Experience with related specializations: Lighting, Animation, Concepting, Shader creation is a plus.
